A Federick Maryland Woman starts a Pet Sitting and Dog Walking business for less than $500

FREDERICK, MD - Picking up after a dog is nasty business, but someone's got to do it. And it doesn't hurt to get paid to do the dirty work.

Which is why Irene Shuck’s dog-walking business became a huge success.

Now she's showing other people how they can start one too.

In 2004, she launched a dog walking and pet sitting business to make some extra money. As her bank account grew - so did her clientele.

"I could have anywhere between three dog walks a day, or I could end up with six or seven walks, it all depends on how busy you want to be." says Shuck.

But it didn't happen by chance. Shuck spent 3 months studying the dog-walking world before she launched Forever Friends LLC.

And her book titled, So You Want to be a Pet Sitter or Dog Walker? Is showing other people how they can do it, too.

Including how she got Forever Friends,LLC up and running - on next to nothing.

"It can cost less than $500 to start the business. You're looking at your leashes, your poop bags,Forms, Memberships and Insurance." says Shuck.
