What is required?

Proof of current rabies, distemper & parvo vaccinations for all pets.

Two keys to your home. If you do not have two keys, we will be more than happy to have another made for you. Key duplication fee is $7.00.

At key pick-up, we will require payment in full for new clients and a deposit of at least fifty percent of the total fee for previous clients. For our clients that allow us to retain their key, payment will be paid in full, on or before the first visit.

A service contract , a pet history and a emergency vet release form for each pet.

Clients that have pets that are allowed outdoor access will be required to sign a waiver stating that Forever Friends will not be held liable for their safety while you are gone. It is strongly advised that they remain indoors during your absence.

All dogs are required to be on a leash...it's the LAW. Exceptions may include a fenced in yard, elderly dog or invisible fencing. You must notify us of any person having access *Key holders* to your home while you are away. If we arrive at your home and someone is there that we're not expecting, we WILL call the police.

We do not job share. Our bonding and insurance are  not  valid under those circumstances.

Persons thinking of a friend or family member that can also care for your pets along with a pet sitter should seek pet sitting services elsewhere.  Forever Friends, LLC will not jeopardize our business or your home for anyone that is trying to save money by having a family member, friend or a neighbor's child helping out.  Too many things can and do happen unfortunately.

New Clients:  Please make sure to contact us at the very least of two weeks before you go away.   We do not service new clients on an emergency basis.   If you are a new client and find that you need emergency care please seek service with another company.   We are very busy with our business and family matters and do not have the time to do emergency interviews. 

Cleaning Supplies

The following cleaning supplies should be available in our clients homes at all times. If we have to purchase supplies to care for any pets that have accidents or are sick while you are away, you will be billed accordingly for said supplies.

Paper towels (Please make sure to have these available.) Diarrhea is not fun to clean up with a rag.

Floor cleaner and/or rug cleaner (We would not want to damage your floors using improper cleaners.)

What do we do?

We will confirm your reservation prior to the dates you are booked.

Clients keys are numbered as to keep your home and identity private and safe.

In the event of extreme weather, we will get to your pet as soon as it is safe to drive. If you are traveling during the winter season, please be sure to make arrangements to have your driveway, walks and steps cleared. Should we have to shovel, you will be billed at our hourly rate for this service. $32.00/hr.

We do not board, nor do we stay over night. If you need or require over night care please contact another service.  

Snow Policy: Dog Walking Clients

Dog walking will not be provided on the days that Frederick County Public Schools close due to snow. Clients will be credited for that day on the following billing cycle.

We will still provide service to our pet sitting clients that are out of town on vacation. If the roads are too dangerous at the scheduled time we will get to your pet as soon as it is safe to drive.

Spring and Summer Plant Care

Plant care of up to 5 house plants is allowed with your service. However a person with a big garden should hire a Gardner to take care of your plants. We are here to take care of your pets and provide companionship to them while you are away; along with the other necessities of mail, newspapers, garbage and security measures.
