Infant program
While your infant is in our care, our responsive caregivers establish and nurture secure emotional bonds that serve as a “secure base” from which infants can safely explore their world. These responsive relationships are critical for the development of social-emotional regulation, cognitive skills, and resilience.
Through back-and-forth communication—smiling, talking, and playful interactions—caregivers build mutual attunement. Infants in our program are seen, safe, soothed, and secure. Secure attachment lays the foundation for greater confidence, stronger mental health, and long-term academic success.
Toddler programs
Play is the primary method of learning in our toddler classrooms. Through play, toddlers experiment with social roles, build language, and develop both fine and gross motor skills. The strong use of visuals, consistent routines, and ample space for movement supports emotional stability and self-regulation.
Our toddler teachers are well-versed in language and practices that focus on teaching children what to do, helping to reduce challenging behaviors. Through literature, guided practice, and modeling, children’s language skills progress from single words to full sentences during this stage of development.
Preschool program
Our Preschool Program is designed for children who are three years old or will turn three by December 1. Our preschool teachers are dedicated to building secure relationships and creating engaging classroom environments where busy three-year-olds develop both gross and fine motor skills through play and hands-on experiences.
Our threes program offers a balance of child-led and teacher-led activities, with consistent routines that are taught and practiced daily. We prioritize social-emotional learning through NYS Pyramid Model practices, helping children learn essential skills such as sharing, turn-taking, and expressing and recognizing emotions.
Forever Friends uses developmentally appropriate practices to meet the needs of every unique child in our program.
Pre-K program
Our Pre-K programs continue to prioritize developmentally appropriate practices for children ages four and five. Positive relationships, intentional guidance, and caring adults create a learning environment where children can safely explore, build on their interests, and grow into confident problem solvers.
Predictable yet flexible schedules balance child-led and adult-led learning experiences. Our practices are culturally responsive, linguistically inclusive, and play-based, supporting the holistic development of Pre-K students. Motor development and cognitive experiences are thoughtfully integrated within the classroom throughout the day.
Support staff—including OT, SEIT, and PT—are actively involved in Pre-K program planning to ensure each child’s individual needs are met
